Our Purpose and Mission

The Secor Farms Neighborhood Association exists to help make our neighborhood an even better place to live.

The Association brings neighbors together, keeps residents informed about matters affecting Secor Farms, welcomes new families to the neighborhood, and serves as a voice for residents in matters involving the Village of Scarsdale and other community organizations.

Our mission is simple: to build a stronger, better-connected, and better-informed Secor Farms.

Meet Our President

Hi neighbors! I'm Michael Levinson, president of the Secor Farms Neighborhood Association.

Secor Farms is not only where I currently reside, it is also where I grew up – from birth until graduating college. Some of my fondest childhood memories include riding my bike through the streets of Secor Farms, knowing I could ride around for long periods without ever having to cross a busy road. I walked to friends' houses, shot hoops at Corell Park, and played in Aspen Park. It was the memories of this idyllic place that lured me back here with my husband to raise our son.

As President of the Association, I am following in my father's footsteps, who was also president of Secor Farms when I was a kid. Like my dad, I am focused on the sense of community that has long made this neighborhood special, and I will seek to create new ways for neighbors to connect, communicate, and make their voices heard.

I am working on expanding neighborhood events, improving communication with residents, welcoming new families, and addressing neighborhood concerns

If you've got an idea, concern, question, or want to say hi, I'd love to hear from you.

What We Do

Build Community

We create opportunities for neighbors of all ages to meet one another and enjoy the neighborhood together. Our calendar includes seasonal gatherings, family activities, volunteer projects, and other opportunities to strengthen connections among neighbors.

Keep Neighbors Informed

Through our website, email list, Facebook group, WhatsApp group, periodic neighborhood notices, and The Secor Farms Quarterly, we share information about neighborhood news, upcoming events, Village matters, local projects, and issues affecting Secor Farms.

Advocate & Follow Up

Residents can bring neighborhood concerns to the Association, from traffic and drainage to trees, signs, roads, parks, and other quality-of-life issues. Our Issues Tracker allows residents to report concerns and follow their progress as the Association communicates with the appropriate Village departments and officials.

Welcome New Neighbors

We want people who move to Secor Farms to feel part of the neighborhood from the beginning. Our New Resident Welcome Program introduces new families to the Association, neighborhood resources, communications channels, parks, events, and, most importantly, their new neighbors.

Community Events

Throughout the year, the Association organizes events designed to bring Secor Farms together. Our annual calendar is being expanded to include a late-summer Back-to-School & Welcome to the Neighborhood celebration, a Fall Festival, a Spring Social & Neighborhood Beautification Day, and other gatherings throughout the year.

We're also exploring new traditions, including neighborhood dinner hops, Halloween activities, volunteer projects, contests, family activities, and events specifically designed to help longtime and newer residents get to know one another.

Staying Connected

There are lots of ways to stay connected with Secor Farms. Visit this website for neighborhood resources and updates, join our email list, follow the neighborhood Facebook group, participate in our WhatsApp group, and look for The Secor Farms Quarterly in your mailbox.

Have a neighborhood concern? Submit it through our Issues Tracker so the Association can follow up and keep residents informed about its status.

This Is Your Association

A Neighborhood Association works best when neighbors participate. Whether you've lived here for forty years or moved in last week, we want to hear from you. Come to an event. Send us an idea. Tell us about an issue. Volunteer for a project. Introduce yourself to a neighbor you haven't met. Together, we can preserve what makes Secor Farms special while continuing to make it an even better place to call home.
